Por incrível que pareca ainda é complicado “explicar” ou “discutir” sobre Creative Commons, no mercado corporativo/executivo. Creative Commos para quem ainda não é familiarizado com o tema, é uma licenća de uso e conteúdo, que visa proteger o autor e sua obra de fato, diferentemente das licencas de copyright convencionais que no meu ponto de vista visam muito mais a exploraćão do autor e sua obra.
Outro ponto interessante do CC é a possibilidade de escolher uma licenća que permite a re-utilizaćão do material, desde que os créditos sejam mencionados, ou até o uso do conteúdo sem fins comerciais, etc…Vejam o vídeo:
Recentemente lendo sobre o tema, tive ciência que já em 2006 tivemos o primeiro caso em que um jornal foi condenado por uso indevido de uma foto sob licenca creative commons. A coisa é séria.

A Creative Commons license was first tested in court in early 2006, when podcaster Adam Curry sued a Dutch tabloid who published photos without permission from his Flickr page. The photos were licensed under the Creative Commons Non-Commercial license. While the verdict was in favour of Curry, the tabloid avoided having to pay restitution to him as long as they did not repeat the offense. An analysis of the decision states, “The Dutch Court’s decision is especially noteworthy because it confirms that the conditions of a Creative Commons license automatically apply to the content licensed under it, and bind users of such content even without expressly agreeing to, or having knowledge of, the conditions of the license.”[8]
Aqui no Brasil a FGV liderou o projeto e hoje o pais é um dos pioneiros a oficilizar o uso das licencas.
